STRENGTHS DNA

If you haven’t heard of the Gallup CliftonStrengths Talent Assessment, you’re missing out!

My first project at Southwest Airlines was to develop, design, and implement their CliftonStrengths Advocate program. I was lucky enough to take the talent assessment. The results were spot on. If you'd like to review my report click here. Check out the Gallup CliftonStrengths website to learn more about the talent assessment. Below are short descriptions of my top five strengths.

DEVELOPER

You recognize and cultivate the potential in others. Instinctively, you repeatedly demonstrate that you value your teammates and care about them as individuals. How? You simply listen to them talk about their talents, successes, or aspirations. The insights you collect prepare you to provide them with opportunities to grow personally or professionally.

HARMONY

You look for consensus. You don't enjoy conflict; rather, you seek areas of agreement. Driven by your talents, you work industriously to finish all your daily assignments. You derive a great deal of satisfaction from reaching goals others have set for you. Meeting their expectations undoubtedly is one of your top priorities.

INDIVIDUALIZATION

You are intrigued with the unique qualities of each person. You have a gift for figuring out how different people can work together productively. Instinctively, you sometimes discover the uniqueness of certain people. Perhaps you observe their strengths, limitations, likes, dislikes, interests, hopes, or emotional triggers. Armed with this information, you might be able to mix and match the various traits of individuals to form groups. When they cooperate, they may reach their common goals more easily, efficiently, or quickly.

EMPATHY

You can sense other people's feelings by imagining yourself in others' lives or situations. Chances are good that people feel comfortable telling you their innermost thoughts and feelings. Driven by your talents, you may be regarded as responsive, concerned, or caring person.

RESTORATIVE

You are adept at dealing with problems. You are good at figuring out what is wrong and resolving it. Instinctively, you frequently consider methods for becoming more organized. You probably like to complete tasks before they are due. You tend to execute your plans far better when you have ample time to process your ideas in an orderly and efficient matter.
